High school student who was referred to Dr. Sanan because of long standing difficulty breathing through his nose. He had broken his nose in childhood, resulting in a severely deviated septum. He also had a genetic dorsal hump and downturned tip shape that he desired to improve. He underwent a cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty with Dr. Sanan. His breathing was corrected with a septoplasty, nasal valve repair, and bilateral inferior turbinate reduction. Cosmetically, his bump was removed, tip lifted, and nasal bones narrowed. He no longer mouth breathes, is able to exercise and work out harder, and all his family and friends comment how natural his nose looks!
